Week 2
Relationship Reflection
The reason relationships are important to me. They help build emotionally and social bond with people. Make people more confident and more relaxed, people feel loved and in control.. Relationships provide the platform to merge abilities to obtain an outcome that could not be possible alone, and the forging of a relationship is the acknowledgment of trust in another individual shared values or beliefs to unite and achieve a common goal.

People that are important to me first my children **Robby and TJ**, Next is my husband **Benji** My  mother  **Meemaw** Then there is  my best friend ** Herb**

Ways each relationship is positive. First my children they are my world. They encourage me every day to challenge myself and to make a better live for them. I only want the best for them and they remind me every day to follow my dreams and live my life to the fullest. Then there is my Husband he is my rock he supports all my decisions and encourages me to follow my dreams. I always feel safe and protected when I am with him. My mother is another positive relationship she is always there for me and has been she raised me and my sisters alone and did the best she could. She never turned her back on us and always helped us when we needed anything. My best friend we have been friends for over 15 years he knows more about me then any one I can talk to him about anything and he never judges he will give me his opinion and leaves it at that. He is always there to support me and my family on any decisions I choice to make.

Challenges regarding maintain a healthy relationship. Lack of communication. Learning how to validate each other needs and feelings. Past relationships issues, Trust issues,  Finances, addictive  behaviors, Stress of  multiple obligations.

I think some of the characteristics of  each of the people I care about can help in a partnership they could help me due to the fact they all encourage me to do my best, they push me to live up to my dreams, and help me achieve anything I set out to do.

I think some of the relationships I have with other help me in a childhood field my providing me with the courage to live up to my expectations. To follow my dreams, Do the best I can and to make a better living for myself and my family I have learned and grown by teaching my children.

  1. My children are my world too!!! It is scary how fast they grow up. I have a two year old and and a 5 week old. You have a great support system around you. Thank you for sharing your relationships with the class!

  2. This is Rhonda from EDUC 6161; I really enjoyed reading your relastionship blog, very heartfelt. My son is 20 and I can remember clear as a bell holding him as a newborn and wondering what the heck to do with a baby! You don' t understand how your parents can treat you like a kid till you have kids; they are always your baby.

  3. Hi Sandra! I enjoyed reading about your relationships. You have very supportive people in your life and that is always a positive thing. I agree that there are some challenges in relationships and communication is definitely one of them. It's also important to have people close to you that encourage you to live your dreams and don't hold you back in addition to having people that you feel safe and confident in telling anything. :)
