Week 5

The article I reviewed was http://www.earlychildhoodaustralia.org.au/
Some of the Issues I saw there are not enough early childhood schools for children to attend. Many of the schools over-crowded. Also there are not enough quality teachers.  Teachers expressed feelings of being overwhelmed with the needs of all of the curriculum areas and could not focus on topics they felt were important

I really love the idea how this group tries to incorporate everything they do around the community, they think buy teaching the children to get involved it will make them better citizens and the citizens of the area love the interaction with the children they become involved with local activities also.

I find it very exciting especially since I am doing my resource paper on children with disabilities they were mention this topic. “Position statement on the inclusion of children with a disability in early childhood education and care.” I am very pleased to see other countries even when they are struggling with the government trying to make a better place for children that they do not leave any child left out and they believe they can work with children best if they are placed around other children who do not have disabilities.

  1. First I want to say I think it is great that you are doing your paper on disabilities and I also think it is incredible that countries still do put the needs of children above all else in-spite of the struggle. Really great job

  2. Great post-it is important for children to fell a sense of belonging to their community, but they still need quality teachers to help prepare them for the real world.

  3. I think that inclusion is great and that all countries should included children with disabilities in all areas of learning. I am happy to hear that Australia also have community involvement. It is important that the community is involved in the child education too. Great post!

  4. Even though there are not enough schools and teachers are feeling overwhelmed,I believe that getting children involved in local activities is a good way to teach them love for their communities. This practice will eventually produce positive effects in their society. Children not only learn to cooperate, obey rules, and respect people in charge, but also learn to love their land, their people, and their country.
